Integrity Mchechesi | Zimbabwe 

 

Integrity Mchechesi is a medical doctor and public healthcare innovator. Integrity co-founded VaxiGlobal, a health technology start-up that focuses on promoting health security through immunization verification. Most recently, he served as a public health consultant with William & Mary's Global Research Institute on a project using artificial intelligence and mobile metadata to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in Zimbabwe. Integrity is a 2018 Clinton Global Initiative University Alumnus, was among the top 30 finalists for the World Health Organization Africa Innovation Challenge in 2019, and received the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe Innovation Drive Award in 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Zimbabwe. On completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, he plans to use his skills and professional network to expand his work with VaxiGlobal.
